Friendship

★★★★☆
Being a Tim Robinson fan, I was excited for his leading-man debut. The early reviews described it as a “throwback comedy”. It’s a great movie, but I don’t know if that’s how I’d describe it. That made me think of a joke-a-minute movie like a David Wain or early Adam McKay movie, but this has a dark streak that get’s pretty serious at times. But when Friendship does throw a joke, it’s hilarious and you think about it for weeks.
